As we kick off this new year, it’s a perfect time to set goals, as well as new intentions for the year ahead. I love using the first few weeks of the new year to reflect on what worked/what didn’t work, areas I want to improve, etc. I have been spending intentional time thinking about my workflows and how to be even more productive while working from home in 2021.
Productivity doesn’t come easy when working at home, especially amidst so much uncertainty and chaos happening outside our doors. I want to encourage you and share a few tips that have helped me be more productive while working from home. I hope they will do the very same for you!
I truly believe the way you spend the first hours of the morning set the tone of how the rest of the day unfolds. I am a lover of slow mornings and being intentional with the rhythms that help get me energized for the day ahead. If you’d like a glimpse into how I start my morning, take a look at my Instagram, @savannahlaurenphotography, for my Reel on my morning routine! A structured morning really helps me focus and get energized for the tasks that I have coming up that day. I always start the day with coffee first! While the coffee is brewing, I go make the bed, do my skincare routine, enjoy breakfast with Louis, and get cozy on the couch while spending time with the Lord and making a list of goals for the day.
While the morning hours may be my time to get centered and focused, I know that isn’t always the case for everyone! Here are 5 extra tips that will help set you up for success, keep you going through those afternoon slumps, and allow you to not only get the most out of your day, but to fully enjoy it as well.
I hope these five simple tips will help you become more productive while you work from home! If you have any other tips, share them in the comments below!
