Hi friends, I'm Sav! I'm a wife, daughter, sister, dog mom, and friend. I married my best friend, Louis, in 2020 and he's truly my biggest encourager + forever second shooter. I'm a empath and love deeply. I'm the epitome of a seven on the enneagram and come alive when stepping into new experiences and adventures. I'm a lover of slow mornings, depth-filled conversations, anything vintage that sparks nostalgia, and being in nature.

Creativity has always been woven into the fabric of my being. Growing up with two incredibly artistic parents,  art has naturally been the way I've known how to best express myself and make sense of the world around me. It wasn't until I was studying abroad in Spain my junior year of college that I discovered my immense love for photojournalism as a means of telling stories of the people, places and moments that were deeply impacting me. Savannah Lauren Photography came to life after returning home from my time abroad, back in 2018. Before stepping into the wedding industry, I traveled the world and worked alongside non-profits and humanitarian organizations, documenting the meaningful work they engaged in and helping move the needle on important issues through storytelling. My time experiencing other cultures and learning how to truly slow down and document life as it unfolds before me has shaped me into the wedding photographer that I am today.

 I believe everyone has a meaningful story worthy of being shared with the world. The beauty of a story is found in the honest and raw details which is why I have infused a photojournalistic approach into the way I document your stories. I can't wait to embark on this journey with you!
